Mechatronix was founded in 2000 to provide mechanical and structural engineering services to major Australian mining companies. Originally, our dominant areas of consulting advice spanned stress and fatigue analysis of fixed structures and mobile mining equipment, underpinned by multi-channel strain gauging and load measurements. In 2010 we diversified into the use of composite materials to provide cost-effective fatigue life extension on dynamically loaded machines and structures, with demonstrated success. We are industry leaders driving the adoption of composite materials in the global mining and resources industry.

Using our extensive design and analysis knowledge, we deliver cost-effective and high-quality repairs to existing mining assets, providing fatigue life extension across a wide range of equipment. We also design new and innovative products using composite materials in conjunction with high strength steels which provide significant light-weighting and increased strength capabilities.
